Dhastar
Eric Prosper UCHE, popularly known as Dhastar, is an upcoming artist who passionate about music.
Born on 7th of August 2000 in Lomé, Togo, he is based in Lomé.
Dhastar discovered his passion and love for music in secondary school,
and is heralded for his lyricism, unmatched flow, and adept songwriting.
After being a semi-finalist at the MGM Battle, he decided to throw himself completely into music.
Dhastar got officially signed to MGM Label in March 2022.
Dhastar sound can be classified as Afro-Pop, but his versatility in songwriting and vocal delivery sits distinctively on nearly any music genre.
His sound is influenced by Ladipoe, Joeboy, Fireboy, Gyakie, Lojay, Ayra Starr, Rema, 1da Banton, Olakira and Nonso Amadi.
His dream is to become an international artist and then help other young people of his generation and the future to come.
Outside the studio, he enjoys sharing his passion with others and being close to his community.
